CLINICAL ANALYSES
A clinical analysis, or laboratory test as it is commonly referred to, is the additional screening requested from the clinical laboratory by a doctor to confirm or eliminate a diagnosis. It forms part of the healthcare process which is supported by the study of different biological samples through analysis in a laboratory and provides an objective result that can be quantitative (a number, such as in the case of glucose levels) or qualitative (positive or negative).
