Lumbar and cervical pain are the most diagnosed chronic ailments. About 60% of the population claim to suffer from back pain and it is estimated that 80%  will suffer an episode of back pain at some time in their life and of these, 60% will be low back pain and 30% cervical pain. The Asunción Klinika Spine Pain and Surgery Unit, coordinated by Dr. Francisco Fasano, is responsible for responding to this problem and other spinal pathologies.
